Paper Towns: Final

Well I'm all done with Paper Towns! I would have to say it was a decent book I sort of expected it to be better though, with more mystery and less love story but oh well I guess.  Quinten finally finds Margo and it's sort of anticlimatic.  I sort of expected Margo to be dead or something but she wasn't, she was just sitting there writing.  But it was through this journey of trying to find her that Quinten proved himself to her in a way and she could finally open up to her.  He says now he can "fell the hands of Margo on his back, and see her even in cracked darkness." (305)

It was interesting to "watch" the relationships grow in this book, not only from Quinten and Margo but also Quninten and his friends while they embark on this journey to find Margo.  Overall, I guess this book was pretty good.

  2. Same here I have no farging idea what just happended but from what you described it was a classic, and probably cliche, teen adventure, mystery, and romance story. (maybe.)

  3. I really enjoyed the book, so I dunno what you're talkin bout, Doane! I do agree though, the ending was kinda just "meh". I expected that she either would be dead or they would go back to their own town together. Didnt really turn out the way most books would have, gotta give it that.

  4. I am glad you liked the book and from your blogs it does seem anticlimatic. I thoroughly dislike books like that. Sounds kind of like a teen romance novel. Nothing really magical though.
